Ms. Botha is CEO of VAKT Global, a London-based company pioneering digital post-trade solutions for the energy sector. She was appointed to this role in early 2024, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in global financial and commodities software systems. At VAKT, she focuses on leveraging transformative technologies—such as AI-powered copilots—to streamline the post-trade lifecycle in the physical energy markets, delivering greater efficiency and profitability for customers.    

Ms. Botha began her career as a programmer, a technical foundation that continues to inform her strategic leadership. Her expertise includes in-depth knowledge of financial and physical trading systems, C/ETE+RM, treasury, risk and compliance, and electronic transaction technologies. She has a proven track record of driving growth, leading digital transformation, and enhancing operational efficiency.  

Ms. Botha has held distinguished positions that include, CEO of Quor Group – a leading CTRM (commodities trading and risk management) technology provider, Executive Leader at Brady Technologies where she oversaw the commodities division, driving substantial growth, managing strategic carve-outs, and delivering a successful sale to Symphony Technology Group, and has held senior roles at other major tech firms like SunGard (now FIS) and Openlink (now ION Group).
