While S&P Global Energy employs staff in functions that range from marketing and conference planning to finance and project management, S&P Global Energy most frequently recruits in the two core areas that drive its business growth: Editorial, which is responsible for generating the content provided to S&P Global Energy clients, and Sales, which initiates and develops relationships with our broad base of clientele in the energy and metals markets.
S&P Global Energy Sales team looks for energetic self-motivated sales professionals with experience managing customer accounts and developing new business. We specifically seek candidates who have experience working in some facet of the energy industry, selling into energy markets or trading energy securities. Our worldwide customer base is diverse and multi-lingual and we expect our sales force to reflect our customer demographics.

S&P Global Energy Editorial team looks for people who have broad sets of experiences, backgrounds, and approaches. We hire people with experience as reporters, editors and business analysts to work with the global markets. In the United States, we have major news rooms in Houston, New York and Washington, D.C.
Internationally, our largest bureaus are in London and Singapore. Our reporters and analysts write business news stories and related market analysis and work against daily, weekly and real-time deadlines. We need people who are flexible and adaptable to changing conditions, and welcome candidates who are multi-lingual and who have worked, traveled or lived in multiple cultures.
