Notes: Delta Air Lines' Monroe Energy began cutting crude rates at its Trainer, Pennsylvania, refinery over the weekend as gasoline cracks fell into negative territory, two sources familiar with refinery operations said Monday.
"It looks like it has been running at 150,000 b/d since the weekend," said one source. The refinery's rated capacity is 190,000 b/d, according to Energy Information Administration data.
A company spokesman was not immediately available for comment.
NYMEX front-month RBOB cracks from front-month NYMEX crude averaged $3.34/b for the week ended March 20. In mid-morning Monday trade, they were $1.56/b.
NYMEX front-month ULSD cracks from front-month NYMEX crude were $19.51/b in Monday midday trade. For the week ended March 20, they averaged $18.00/b.
