Steve Giordano

Sr Regional Operations / SME Specialist, Consulting Services

Steve Giordano is a Client Principal/Subject Matter Expert within the S&P Global Mobility Consulting Services group. In this role, he serves as the principal consultant on loyalty trends and analysis for multiple major global automobile manufacturers.

Steve joined the S&P Global Mobility group (formerly IHS Markit Automotive Advisory Services) in 2019. He is a Subject Matter Expert in automotive loyalty and is responsible for conducting loyalty analysis and client training sessions on loyalty methodology and loyalty analytics software. In addition, he prepares and delivers presentations and deep dives on market trends and loyalty performance for his clients.

Prior to joining S&P Global, Steve was a Strategy and Business Analytics specialist within the Mitsubishi Motors North America Corporate Planning group. In this role, he supported key strategic, marketing, and product decisions, such as annual and long-term business planning, by providing the senior executive team and the Global Marketing & Sales organization in Japan with internal and industry performance data, consumer and competitive insights, marketing and product analysis, and sales volume forecasting. In addition, he led the development of a centralized data repository to facilitate more timely and accurate analysis.

Steve has also served in a variety of other positions focused in marketing and corporate strategy, business analytics, consumer insights, and customer service for several multi-national corporations including Bank of America, eHarmony, The Walt Disney Company, and DIRECTV. He is passionate about transforming data and information into actionable insights to help drive decision-making, create new opportunities, and solve problems.

Steve earned an MBA focused on Marketing Consulting and Brand Management from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business & Economics - Marketing and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
