Catherine Allegra serves as global head of Markit Digital at S&P Global Market Intelligence.Catherine has been leading Markit Digital since founding it as Wall Street on Demand in 1991. Markit Digital is the industry leader of design and technology services that empower retail brokerages, advisory/wealth management firms and the financial media to make better investment decisions. Catherine joined IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global), when the company acquired Wall Street On Demand in 2010. Previously, she served as National Executive Director of Plays for Living based in New York City, the youngest executive director in its fifty year history. Catherine has served and serves on many boards - corporate, social service and the arts.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bryn Mawr College, US, where she serves on the Board of Trustees.
