Platts to publish Japan Custom Cleared crude, LNG prices under full name

S&P Global Platts will publish its Japan Custom Cleared crude oil and LNG prices under their full names, effective Feb. 8, 2021, based on feedback obtained from industry participants.

Prior to this change, these prices were published under the abbreviation "JCC." The change would clarify that Japan JCC crude oil prices (Symbols: AAKOP00, AAKOM00) and Japan JCC LNG prices (Symbols: LAKPN00, LAKPM0) reflect the Japan Custom Cleared average prices of crude oil and LNG imports published by the country's Ministry of Finance. These prices are published in Platts LNG Daily, as well as on the Platts Natural Gas Alert, Platts LNG Alert, and Platts Global Alert.
