Mason Lester, Research Analyst on the North American Power team, specializes in nuclear energy and interconnection costs of new generators.
Based in Washington D.C., he specializing in nuclear power as well as the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO). Prior to joining S&P Global, Mason analyzed European energy markets while working at the Technical University of Denmark. His work focused on decarbonization policies, alternative transport fuels, and emerging technologies.
He holds a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Sustainable Energy from the Technical University of Denmark.
