Ruslan Anisimov applies upstream oil & gas expertise to solving strategic and technical challenges facing operators and investors at S&P Global Commodity Insights

Ruslan leads consulting engagements dealing with upstream oil & gas topics with the aim to help governments, corporate and private equity clients make informed decisions. With 15 years of industry experience, he has led multiple studies covering due diligence of upstream assets, investment opportunity screening, midstream oil and gas supply, independent subsurface audit, and upstream strategy development. Prior to joining S&P Global Commodity Insights, Ruslan worked with Nexen Petroleum, Shell, and Gazpromneft in the UK, the Netherlands and Russia in technical and leadership roles covering field development planning, drilling operations, new business development and opportunity management.

Ruslan holds a master's degree in Geology from Boise State University, USA, and MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK. He is fluent in English and Russian.
