Zaineb Al-Assam is a regional analyst specializing in Iraq.
Zaineb provides specific and commercially focused analysis of political and violent risks in Iraq and the wider MENA region. Her coverage is utilized by clients in the insurance, corporate security, aviation and energy sectors. Zaineb was previously the Head of Middle East and North Africa Forecasting at Exclusive Analysis, an S&P Global Market Intelligence legacy company.
Zaineb received a BA at the University of Oxford in Middle Eastern Studies and an MA from SOAS in International Studies and Diplomacy. She is an Arabic speaker.
