With demand growth starting to hit US electricity markets and much more in store, power plant transaction announcements have gained steam. Driven in equal parts by the scramble for generation access and by green energy value capture, asset values are poised for solid appreciation after languishing in competitive, lower growth environment of the early 2020s. Much of this appreciation has been centered around markets experiencing rapid growth of the hyperscale datacenter segment, itself an active player in generation procurement. This webinar will highlight several transactions announced so far, and the regional value drivers behind each transaction.
