He began his career in the Audit Department at KPMG, working on the audits of several insurers. He served as Controller for Automobile Club Insurance Company, an AAA insurer. At Auto Club, Jeff oversaw Statutory and GAAP reporting and managed the short-term investment portfolio. Today, he is a Director at Sovos Booke, focusing on investment and actuarial topics. A CPA, Jeff graduated from Bowling Green State University, served in the Army National Guard, and is a former high school basketball official.

Prior to joining Lemonade, Scott was a partner in the law firm of DLA Piper LLP (US) focusing on insurance regulatory matters. He returned to private practice after nearly a decade in service to the New York State Department of Financial Services. Scott spent several years as the Executive Deputy Superintendent for Insurance, leading DFS’s oversight of the thousands of insurance companies active in New York. In that capacity, he was actively involved in numerous NAIC committees, working groups and task forces. Immediately prior to the Executive Deputy role, Scott was the Special Deputy Superintendent for the New York Liquidation Bureau where he oversaw the liquidation of dozens of insolvent insurers and managed New York’s property/casualty guaranty funds which made hundreds of millions in claim payments annually.

Stephen Fitzsimmons is a member of Insurance Solutions within Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He was a Director and portfolio manager at Conning for the better part of a decade followed by time as a Portfolio Manager at Resolution Life where he helped optimize insurance investment portfolios and supported M&A and reinsurance transactions.

Anu R. Ganti is Senior Director and Head of U.S. Index Investment Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). The index investment strategy team provides research and commentary on the entire S&P DJI product set, including U.S. and global equities, thematics, commodities, fixed income and sustainability indices. She is also a frequent contributor to both print and broadcast media outlets.
Prior to joining S&P DJI, Anu worked in the asset management space, completing a post-MBA rotational program at Russell Investments within their fixed income research and trading divisions and working as a portfolio manager focusing on emerging market equities at Parametric Portfolio Associates (part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management).
Anu is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA in finance and economics from Columbia Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Anika Getubig is a Director with S&P Global Ratings Financial Services Ratings Group, based in New York. She is involved in all aspects of the analytical process related to issuing financial strength ratings on companies in the life and health insurance sectors. Prior to joining the North American Insurance group, Anika worked at McGladrey LLP where she completed comprehensive valuations including purchase price allocations and fair market valuations for financial reporting purposes. Before joining McGladrey, Anika worked for the investment management arm of John Hancock providing fiduciary oversight of the John Hancock Pension. Anika graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from Boston College and a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems from Ateneode Manila.

Global Chief Economist
Paul Gruenwald is the Global Chief Economist at S&P Global Ratings based in New York. He leads the economic research agenda and serves as the primary spokesperson on macro-economic matters for the company.
Before joining S&P Global Ratings in 2013, Paul spent almost five years at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) as the Asia Pacific Chief Economist, where he was responsible for helping set and direct ANZ’s Asian and global economic research agenda, as well as building the bank’s economic research efforts and profile in the region. Previously, Paul worked at the International MonetaryFund(IMF) for nearly 16 years, where he led the team producing the IMF’s Asian regional outlook reports. He was also the IMF Resident Representative to Hong Kong and Korea, the Deputy Chief of the China Division, and did considerable work on both public (Paris Club) and private (London Club) debt restructuring issues.
Paul has a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Mathematics from the University of Texas.

Commissioner of Insurance
Nathan Houdek has served as Commissioner of Insurance for the State of Wisconsin since his appointment by Governor Tony Evers in January 2022. He previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Insurance for three years under former Commissioner Mark Afable.
Commissioner Houdek serves as the state's chief regulator of insurance and oversees the operations of the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. He is also vice chair of the state Group Insurance Board and a board member of the Wisconsin Insurance Security Fund, the state's guaranty fund.
As a member of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Commissioner Houdek currently serves as chair of the Financial Condition (E) Committee, and as a member of the Life Insurance and Annuities (A) Committee, the International Insurance Relations (G) Committee, and various task forces and working groups. He is also vice chair of the Governance Committee of the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission.
Having spent over 20 years working in state legislative and regulatory affairs, Commissioner Houdek has extensive experience finding solutions to complex public policy and regulatory challenges across all lines of insurance. He has held several senior-level roles in the public and private sectors, including serving as a principal at one of Wisconsin's largest public affairs and business consulting firms and as chief of staff to a former minority leader in the Wisconsin State Senate.

Managing Director and Life Insurance Sector Lead
Carmi Margalit is Managing Director and the Life Insurance Sector Lead for the North American Financial Services Ratings group. Carmi leads the group’s research, commentary and analytical outreach efforts on life insurance. He serves as the subject matter expert on life and annuities in North America and is one of the primary voices of S&P Global’sinteractions with the market in the sector. He directly covers a portfolio of high profile life insurers and follows the entire sector very closely.
Prior to his current role, Carmi was the analytical manager of the life and health insurance team; he was an analyst on the life team and in the structured finance group before that.
Carmi is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in industrial engineering from the Tel Aviv University.

Peter Mason is a Deputy Director in Supervision (Insurance) at the Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) responsible for leading teams undertaking risk-based supervision of long-term regulated entities in the insurance sector. He is a lead in the supervision of asset-liability matching (ALM) and derivatives and assists in the development of guidance and requirements in these areas as well as supervision of the Scenario Based Approach (SBA) more generally. Mr. Mason is also a lead in the supervision of UK Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) reinsurance transactions with a focus on asset-intensive reinsurance practices and safeguards.
Before joining the BMA, Mr. Mason spent more than 10 years working with private credit modelling, derivatives, ALM and hedging strategies, on the buy-side within the UK PRT industry and the sell-side with a European investment bank.
Mr. Mason is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary.

Kerry O’Brien is global head of Insurance Asset Management and Liability Solutions for MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Prior to joining MIM in December 2024, Kerry served as head of insurance at Insight Investments, a subsidiary of BNY. Leena Punjabi has served as the Chief Investment Officer at F&G Annuities & Life since January 2021.
