Nischal Patel

Nischal Patel serves as Head of Data within the Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) at S&P Global. A 16-year S&P Global veteran, he brings more than 22 years of experience leading large-scale data operations, enterprise transformation and AI-enabled modernization across global information businesses.

Since joining the company in 2010, Nischal has held a series of leadership roles across Product Operations, Global Business Operations, Data Operations, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Most recently, he led Data Operations within EDO, overseeing a global organization responsible for the ingestion, curation, and delivery of data that powers S&P Global's products and insights. He has been instrumental in modernizing enterprise workflows, advancing AI adoption at scale, strengthening data governance and quality frameworks, and driving the integration of major acquisitions, including IHS Markit, Visible Alpha, and With Intelligence.

Nischal also previously served as Site Lead for S&P Global Hyderabad, where he helped build and scale one of the company's largest talent hubs, fostering cross-functional collaboration across business, data, and technology teams. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to build high-performing teams, accelerate innovation, and deliver operational excellence in support of S&P Global's long-term growth strategy.

Before joining S&P Global, Nischal held a variety of leadership and data management roles at Thomson Reuters and CRISIL.

Nischal holds an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from TAPMI and a Master's in Finance Management from Annamalai University.
