Where we work doesn’t impede delivery of uninterrupted intelligence.

The global pandemic forced us to close S&P Global offices, but that did not mean we were closed for business. Starting in January, we seamlessly transitioned 23,000 people to working from home, providing a technology subsidy to help the change. Our people team drafted the Work From Home Promise as a guide to how we work remotely, underscoring our commitment to mutual care across the organization and to customers.

Despite uncertainty, we accelerated progress. In January 2021—for the first time—S&P Global was ranked on the Brand Finance Global 500 list of the world’s most valuable brands. CEO Doug Peterson was included in Brand Guardianship Index 2021’s 100 top executives, recognizing his strong leadership and vision in transforming S&P Global into the leading data and analytics provider globally.

The strength of our communities is crucial to our success.

In early 2020, the world as we knew it began to change at breakneck speed. Amid this uncertainty, S&P Global stood up and supported communities around the world.

Throughout 2020, the S&P Global Foundation made nearly $11 million in contributions to support organizations in line with COVID-19 relief, racial and gender equality, social justice and economic inclusion, STEM education, and environmental sustainability.
