Danial Shuhaizan is a petroleum economist with the Vantage Economics team at S&P Global Energy. Shuhaizan handles fiscal regimes and manages clients for the Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States region. This involves analyzing and managing the economic aspects of upstream oil and gas assets, including taxation, financial structures and economic policies. Prior to joining S&P Global, Shuhaizan worked in the Malaysian Stock Exchange and in the downstream oil and gas industry. Shuhaizan has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, finance and international business from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Science degree in applied economics from the University of Bath.
