Angelo Salton, Ph.D.

Angelo Salton, is a senior research analyst in Fertecon, Agribusiness at S&P Global Energy.

Angelo switched from academia to the agribusiness industry in 2019, working for a large agricultural producer. In 2021, he joined S&P Global and helped develop and launch the Brazilian Fertilizer Report at Fertecon. He has an extensive understanding of the Brazilian fertilizer market regarding pricing, products, logistics and trade flows. He is also an expert in data analysis and visualizations, designing solutions for end-users at S&P Global Energy.

Angelo holds a doctoral degree specializing in Macroeconomic Policy at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil, master and bachelor degrees in Economics at Universidade Federal de Pelotas, Brazil.
