Stuart Lewis

Executive Director for E&P Technical Research

Stuart Lewis is an Executive Director of International E&P Research for S&P Global Energy based in the UK.

Stuart joined S&P Global Energy in 1999 as a technical analyst and researcher, since then he has worked as a Regional Manager and Regional Director. Prior to joining S&P Global Energy permanently, he worked on an ad-hoc basis for S&P Global Energy (formerly IEDS) both in Singapore and the UK during the early-to-mid 1990's.

Stuart has over 25 years of experience in the international oil and gas industry and has spent periods of time in Northwest Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Working closely with colleagues based in S&P Global Energy Geneva, Moscow, Houston and UK offices, Stuart now provides support for operational activities and development of regional E&P research teams covering Africa, Latin America, CIS, Middle East, Continental and Northwest Europe divisions in order to enhance upstream coverage. He also writes a Middle East regional activity report for the southern Gulf, encompassing GCC countries and Yemen.

Stuart holds a BSc Honours degree in geology and a diploma in exploration techniques.
