Shaohua currently serves as Director of S&P Global Energy Chemical Consulting Services based in Singapore responsible for leading and managing single-client studies. He joined S&P Global Energy Chemicals in April 2020 based in Singapore and has more than 20 years of experience in petrochemical and specialty chemical industry. Majority of that time was spent with A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore), Huntsman Performance Products, Shell Chemicals and Eastman Chemical in various commercial and strategy roles - R&D, business development, product management, marketing, sales and intelligence.

Shaohua's current consulting focus areas include conducting market assessment and competitive analysis on petrochemicals and specialty chemicals, formulating go-to-market strategies, feasibility evaluations of projects, structuring and reviews of feedstock supply & product portfolio.
