Simon holds a B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Canada, and a B. App. Tech.

Petroleum Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His current position is as a Subject Matter Expert for the IHS Piper software. He has detailed experience with pressure calculation methods, including multiphase flow in pipes with phase change behavior. He focuses on petroleum engineering software workflows and technical development in the area of wellbore and pipeline optimization.
