Carel is managing southern Africa, and specifically South Africa, macro-economic time series data. He has more than 15 years' experience in historical economic data, data sourcing and report writing. Having lectured both Economics and Statistics, his quantitative background and attention to detail supports his focus on customer support and service.

Carel has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in econometrics and statistics and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in econometrics from the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education, a post graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of the Orange Free State, and a Certificate in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
