Max Cohen

Associate Director, Gas, Power, and Energy Futures

Max Cohen is an associate director on the Gas, Power, and Energy Futures team at S&P Global.

Mr. Cohen leads S&P Global analysis of North America’s onshore and offshore wind markets, including project development trends, technology cost and performance, corporate strategies, supply chain, operations and maintenance, and targeted policies. He is one of the lead contributors to the S&P Global Wind Power Plant Benchmarking service, which provides detailed analysis on the performance of over 30 GW of installed wind capacity. He also contributes to S&P Global global renewables research. Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Cohen was an analyst at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a government services company, where he worked on energy assurance, smart grid, demand-side management, net metering, alternative vehicle fuels, and climate change. Mr. Cohen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Master of Arts from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
