Irfan Choudhry

Irfan is our Director of Power and Renewables Consulting, across Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Irfan leads a growing team of three consultants - and is passionate about decarbonization and energy transition strategies in the Asia Pacific power and gas markets. 

As an industry stalwart, Irfan has over 25 years of hands-on experience working across the power and gas value chain. From gas and power market entry strategy to project investment due diligence, power market modelling and gas and power infrastructure contract designing and negotiations – Irfan takes a holistic approach to every challenge. He loves diving into the unknown and bringing together experts from across different segments and regions at S&P Global to discover smart solutions.  

Irfan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Delhi University, alongside a Master’s in Business Administration.
