Tim Bleakley

Tim Bleakley works primary in Energy Transition and the intersection of natural gas, power and renewables at S&P Global Commodity Insight.

Tim is a Senior Advisor within the S&P Global Commodity Insight Strategy Consulting Group with over 30 years of consulting experience in world energy, carbon and environmental markets. Prior to joining S&P Global Tim Bleakley was head of Wood Mackenzie's Power & Renewables Consulting in the Americas. Formerly, Tim was also a Principle with McKinsey & Company and co-led their North American Electric Power & Natural Gas Practice.

At S&P Global, Tim focuses primarily on issues surrounding the Energy Transition and the global response to the need to lower carbon emissions. He has been involved in over $100 billion of energy infrastructure transactions. During his career Tim has worked extensively in North and South America, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina.

Tim holds a BS (summa cum laude) and an MS in Chemical Engineering, and a SM in Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
