Head of Thought Leadership, Credit Solutions
Michelle P Cheong is Head of Thought Leadership for Credit Solutions at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where she leads the development of global thought leadership for credit risk. She has previously led product development for RatingsXpress, as well as business development and product management in S&P Global.
Prior to S&P Global Market Intelligence, Michelle spent her career as a Portfolio Manager at Barclays Global Investors, State Street Global Advisors and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with responsibility of AUM up to USD 1bn; specialising in alpha, portfolio construction and risk research. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics (with Distinction) and a Master's degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, and completed the All But Dissertation at the Ph.D. program in Finance at Nanyang Business School, Singapore. Michelle offers a unique combination of practitioner and research expertise to the world of credit risk.

Brian Connolly is the Head of Business Development for Portfolio Analytics at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where he leads the go-to-market strategy and drives client growth for the Portfolio Analytics business. With over 18 years of experience at S&P Global Market Intelligence, Brian has held leadership roles across several product specialist teams, including Portfolio Analytics, Sustainability, Money Market Directories (MMD), and Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD). Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Brown University.
