Co-Head of Market Intelligence, Enterprise Solutions
Darren Thomas is Co-Head of Market Intelligence, Enterprise Solutions, at S&P Global and a member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team.
As Co-Head of Market Intelligence, Enterprise Solutions, Mr. Thomas is responsible for leading the vertical that delivers solutions powering critical infrastructure, networks and agentic workflows tied to financial markets, with a focus on differentiated software assets. Enterprise Solutions brings together software, workflow, pricing and reference data capabilities, including consensus pricing and valuation methodologies across public and private markets.
Prior to this expanded role, Mr. Thomas led Enterprise Solutions, where he built and scaled many of the software, workflow and network capabilities that now form the foundation of the vertical. He also led S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Lending Solutions and Platforms & Networks businesses, launching several new products and innovations, including WSO Private Credit, AI Automation for Private Markets Financial Data Extraction, CLM Pro for Client Onboarding & Regulatory Compliance, and ISDA Amend.
Before joining S&P Global, Mr. Thomas worked at Barclays Investment Bank and UBS, where he ran technology and operations across OTC derivatives, futures, FX and regulatory change programs. He began his career as a management consultant at PwC, focusing on manufacturing automation, pharmaceuticals and systems integrations.
Mr. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience driving technology change and building software solutions that help firms scale their businesses. He serves on the Executive Board of the International Securities Services Association (ISSA) and previously co-headed the ISDA Credit Derivatives Implementation Working Group during the global financial crisis. Mr. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from Cornell University and received his MBA from the University of Georgia.
