Stephens boosts institutional equities division

Stephens Inc. named Nik Fisken executive vice president and head of institutional equities as part of new organizational structure.

Fisken will lead the research, sales, sales trading and trading departments within the institutional equities division, while retaining his role as director of research. Fisken joined Stephens in 1994 and also serves as chairman of the equity dealers of America.

Additionally, the company promoted Louis Wilson to producing sales manager and Anthony Pignio to producing head of equity trading. Wilson will be based in the company's Little Rock, Ark., office and continue to lead the firm's Midwest team. Pignio, who joined Stephens in 2013 in New York, will relocate to Little Rock.

Stephens also announced the appointment of David Hagen as managing director and head of New York and Mid-Atlantic sales. Hagen is based in New York and most recently was a partner with William Blair & Co. LLC in the equity sales division.

Michael Conte will continue as head of sales trading.
