Kimberly-Clark names president of Asia-Pacific consumer business

Personal-care products maker Kimberly-Clark Corp. said Jan. 8 that it appointed Aaron Powell as president of the company's Asia-Pacific consumer business.

Powell, who is the president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, will replace Achal Agarwal. Agarwal has been named to the newly created role of chief transformation officer.

The changes are effective March 1. Agarwal and Powell will continue to report to Kimberly-Clark Chairman and CEO Mike Hsu.

A successor to Powell will be named in the near future, according to Irving, Texas-based Kimberly-Clark.

Hsu said in a statement that the leadership changes will help the company achieve the goals of its K-C Strategy 2022 plan that aims to increase sales by 1% to 3% annually and achieve yearly mid-single-digit growth in adjusted EPS.
