Durango Resources expands footprint in Quebec's Windfall Lake

Durango Resources Inc. closed the previously announced acquisition of an additional 2,358 hectares in Quebec's Windfall Lake area, it said Oct. 10.

The property is located approximately 5.5 kilometers south of Osisko Mining Inc.'s Black Dog gold-silver-copper project.

As part of the transaction, the company issued 500,000 shares to Goldrea Resources Corp.

Durango is positioned for discovery in the Windfall Lake Gold Camp, and has identified anomalous gold-copper rock samples near the East Block's boundary upon looking closer at the historical work reports.

The company plans to further investigate these showings to determine if the historic mineralized trend extends onto the East Block claims.
