East Caribbean Financial Holding Co. Ltd. has appointed Dr. Bernard La Corbinière to serve as managing director, with effect from March 19.

La Corbinière, who also will serve as managing director at the company's Bank of Saint Lucia Ltd.. unit, previously was a managing director at Saint Lucia Development Bank and within the Caribbean country's finance ministry, according to a March 22 statement.
