Costco said Aug. 2 that its July year-over-year sales rose 8.8% to $9.41 billion from $8.65 billion a year earlier.

The membership-only warehouse's net sales in the 48 weeks ended July 30 also rose 6.1% to $113.70 billion, compared to the $107.16 billion it posted during the same period in 2016.
