Wellgreen Platinum Ltd. said Sept. 13 that it eliminated the COO position as part of recent changes to reposition the group as it develops its namesake platinum group metals-nickel project in Canada's Yukon Territory. John Sagman is therefore no longer with the company.

The group appointed Joe Romagnolo as its new CFO in August, after Jeffrey Mason left a month earlier.

Wellgreen also expects that Gillyeard Leathley will be elected as a new director at the company's Sept. 27 AGM. Leathley is currently a director at Novagold Resources Inc. and will serve as senior technical adviser to the board and CEO.
