Lexington Partners closes secondary fund at $14B

Lexington Partners LP secured $14 billion of commitments in total for its Lexington Capital Partners IX LP and associated vehicles at the final close.

The investment vehicle, which started investing in the fourth quarter of 2018, exceeded its $12 billion fundraising target, attracting the commitments from more than 450 investors.

It will target investments in private equity and alternative assets across sectors globally in negotiated secondary market deals.
