Star Jones will resign as president of Professional Diversity Network Inc., effective Dec. 31.

Jones, who is a member of the company's board, will not stand for reelection as a director at the company's next annual shareholder meeting. Professional Diversity Network said in an Oct. 15 SEC filing that Jones' decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the company.

The company's annual shareholder meeting is scheduled for Dec. 17.
