Report: Carlyle, BC Partners add Middle East fundraising execs

Private equity firms Carlyle Group LP and BC Partners appointed two executives to expedite their respective fundraising efforts in the Middle East, Private Equity News reported, citing an unnamed source.

Carlyle added Ani Khatri to its investor relations team as a managing director, a source said. BC Partners named Yacine Mancer as principal, a new role it created to expand its private credit and real estate activities.

Khatri worked at PJT Partners Inc., a global advisory-focused investment bank that was part of Blackstone Group LP, the source added.

Mancer previously served as senior investor relations manager at French investment firm Ardian, among other affiliations.
