Universal City, Texas-based TexStar Bancshares Inc. founder Marvin Rush died May 17 at age 79, according to an obituary posted on treshewell.com.

Rush also founded commercial truck business Rush Enterprises Inc. in 1965.

TexStar Bancshares is the parent company of TexStar National Bank.
