Arkus,who will assume his role Sept. 5, will report to Bart Schmeetz, ING's globalhead of financial institutions, and Gerald Walker, CEO of the bank'sU.K./Ireland and Middle East/Africa division, according to the report.

Arkusmost recently served as head of rates capital markets and syndicate atCredit Suisse GroupAG but was among the employees affected by the Swiss bank's job cuts in February.
