By Light Professional IT Services Inc. acquired Phacil Inc., a diversified software services provider, for an undisclosed sum.

Phacil offers IT services, including the modernization and assessment of IT systems, networks and data centers for the U.S. Department of Defense and civilian agencies, according to a March 25 news release.

The acquisition marks By Light's second since it was acquired by private equity firm Sagewind Capital LLC in 2017. By Light acquired Axom Technologies Inc. in 2018.
