Lalique Group H1 profit climbs 57.7% YOY

Lalique Group SA said its first-half normalized net income amounted to 27 euro cents per share, a gain of 53.0% from 17 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €1.3 million, an increase of 57.7% from €840,000 in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to €58.7 million, compared with €58.7 million in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to €56.8 million from €54.8 million.

Reported net income increased 47.3% year over year to €997,000, or 20 cents per share, from €677,000, or 14 cents per share.
