Prologis Inc. independent director Philip Hawkins resigned from the industrial real estate investment trust's board, effective Jan. 15.

Hawkins became executive chairman of Link Industrial Properties, the U.S. industrial real estate portfolio company of private equity and real estate giant The Blackstone Group Inc.

The REIT appointed Avid Modjtabai as an independent director, effective Feb. 20.

Modjtabai, who is senior executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo & Co.'s payments, virtual solutions and innovation group, will retire from that role at the end of the first quarter.
