Texas-based Third Coast Bancshares Inc. and Heritage Bancorp Inc. have completed their merger of equals.

Third Coast Bank SSB and Heritage Bank have officially joined as a result of their respective holding companies completing the MOE, creating a $1.2 billion bank operation under the Third Coast name and brand, according to a news release.
