ING's Belgian unit names chief risk officer

ING Groep NV unit ING België NV appointed Gordana Hulina chief risk officer for Belgium and Luxembourg, effective Jan. 15, 2020.

Hulina, who is currently head of credit risk and member of the executive management board of Turkey-based ING Bank AŞ, succeeds Krista Baetens, who was recently appointed as head of wholesale banking for Asia-Pacific.

ING België also named Ellen Aelvoet head of wholesale banking for Belgium and Luxembourg, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Aelvoet has served for 22 years with ING in a number of senior management positions in Belgium.

Both Hulina and Aelvoet will report to Erik Van Den Eynden, CEO of ING in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Meanwhile, the Belgian bank appointed Nancy Dhollander to its board of directors as an independent nonexecutive director.
