Bankers Commercial plans to acquire passive stake in Okla. wind project

BankersCommercial Corp. is seeking FERC approval by Nov. 1 to acquire 100%passive, noncontrolling class B interests in the Drift Sand wind project.

The MUFGAmericas Holdings Corp. subsidiary may also seek additionalunidentified tax equity investors at the closing or a year from the closingdate.

The planned 108.8-MW Drift Sand project is under developmentin Grady, Okla. Upon its expected completion in November, the facility willsell its output to ArkansasElectric Cooperative Corp. under a 25-year power purchaseagreement.

An Enel GreenPower North America Inc. subsidiary owns a 35% ownership of theclass A interests and will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility.The remaining class A interests are held by a subsidiary.(Docket No. EC16-186)
