Insurtech Thimble raises $22M in funding round

Newly rebranded insurtech Thimble has raised $22 million in a series A funding round led by IAC.

Existing investors Slow Ventures, Axa Venture Partners and Open Ocean also participated in the funding round.

The insurtech, which was known as Verifly, offers on-demand short-term liability coverage for small businesses and independent workers, with policies underwritten by Markel Corp.
