Markit, IHS complete merger

Markit Ltd.and IHS Inc. have completed their mergerto form IHS Markit.

IHS Markit will begin trading July 13 on the Nasdaq Global SelectMarket under the trading symbol INFO.

Under the terms of the merger, IHS stockholders will receive3.5566 common shares of Markit in exchange for each IHS common share, which willno longer be publicly traded.

The new 11-member board of directors for IHS Markit consistsof Dinyar Devitre, Ruann Ernst, William Ford, Balakrishnan Iyer, Robert Kelly, DeborahMcWhinney, Jean-Paul Montupet, Richard Roedel, James Rosenthal, Jerre Stead andLance Uggla. Stead also serves as chairman and CEO of the combined entity, whileUggla serves as president.
