Southern Rubber Industry Q4 profit falls YOY

4910021 said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter came to 592.34 dong per share, a decline of 8.4% from 646.81 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 61.38 billion dong, a decrease of 8.4% from 67.03 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 7.2% from 7.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 5.6% on an annual basis to 856.89 billion dong from 908.01 billion dong, and total operating expenses decreased 5.1% from the prior-year period to 751.19 billion dong from 791.51 billion dong.

Reported net income decreased 7.8% year over year to 76.80 billion dong, or 741.15 dong per share, from 83.32 billion dong, or 804.04 dong per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 2,384.45 dong per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 2,493.93 dong.

EPS declined from 2,488.03 dong in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 232.12 billion dong, a decline of 12.6% from 265.52 billion dong in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased 14.4% from the prior-year period to 3.636 trillion dong from 3.178 trillion dong, and total operating expenses rose 17.5% on an annual basis to 3.177 trillion dong from 2.705 trillion dong.
