Illinois regulator approves Marion County Savings Bank/Flora Savings Bank deal

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation approved the merger between Salem, Ill.-based Marion County Savings Bank and Flora, Ill.-based Flora Savings Bank.

Approval was granted Sept. 25, according to the state regulator's regulatory report for the period ended Sept. 30. The regulator had received the application July 9.
