Eurozone June industrial production declines 0.6%

Eurozone seasonally adjusted industrial production dropped by 0.6% in June, month over month, compared with the revised 1.2% growth in May, Eurostat said.

The monthly fall came as capital goods production declined by 1.9% and durable consumer goods by 1.2%. Nondurable consumer goods slipped by 0.4%. In annual terms, industrial production in the euro area increased by 2.6%.
