Hydro One Networks Inc. plans to seek a review and vary the Ontario Energy Board's decision to reduce pension contributions in its 2018-2022 distribution revenue requirement application.
The Hydro One Inc. subsidiary also plans to appeal the pension findings to the Ontario Divisional Court, according to a March 26 news release.
Moreover, the utility will appeal to the Ontario Divisional Court a decision by the OEB to uphold its decision that a portion of the future tax savings resulting from the government of Ontario's sale of its ownership interest in Hydro One Ltd. through an initial public offering and subsequent share sales should be applied to reduce Hydro One Networks' revenue requirement for 2017 and 2018.
