PG&E repurchases, retires $345M of pollution control bonds

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. repurchased and retired $345 million of pollution control bonds series 2004 A through D in June, according to a Form 10-Q filed July 27.

The PG&E Corp. subsidiary also remarketed $145 million of three series of pollution control bonds during the same month. The securities comprised of $45 million of 1.05% series 2008 G bonds due Dec. 1, 2018; $50 million of 1.75% series 2010 E bonds due Nov. 1, 2026; and $50 million of 1.75% series 2008 F bonds due Nov. 1, 2026.
