The board of French carmaker Renault SA on Oct. 5 proposed Thomas Courbe to be appointed as a director following the resignation of Pascal Faure.
Faure served the board as the French state representative since February 2013. Courbe would serve the remainder of Faure's term, which runs until the end of Renault's annual general meeting to approve 2020 financial statements.
Courbe has held offices in France's defense ministry and most recently in the economy and finance ministry. He has served as deputy director of the treasury since September 2015 and succeeded Faure as director-general for enterprise in August.
