* TriEye Ltd., an Israel-based developer of shortwave infrared sensing technology, obtained US$17 million in series A financing led by Intel Capital. Other round participants include Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. co-founder Marius Nacht and current backer Grove Ventures Capital. TriEye collected US$3.0 million in a seed funding round in June 2018.
* A £10 million series A funding round for Yu Life Ltd., a London-based life insurance company, was led by funds managed by Creandum AB, with participation from MMC Ventures Ltd. and Notion Capital Partners LLP, as well as existing investors Anthemis Exponential Ventures, RGAx LLC and OurCrowd Ltd.
